We named her Lulu. In 2004 I had the opportunity to ride her full sister Bon Bon who now resides in Italy. We knew her sire several years longer and Oscar and I both rode his brother in Tennessee. From that point of view Lulu is not a stranger for us. We first heard about her in during our stay in Wisconsin when we just acquired Beetle. But to buy her half sister as well? Well, better say 3/4 sister! And yes, in the end we did end up buying her. Why? Well, sometimes all you need is one picture... Lulu is born in 2005 at Heritage TWH Society co-founder Billy Taylor, she is a daughter of his stallion Society's Dan Allan. This black sabino mare measures 1.62m at the age of 5 and is stocky build. She moves souple with long strides. Lulu has all what made the traditional TWH famous in the '40ies. Currently green broke we will train her some more. In the future Lulu will be used as broodmare as well. Many thanks to Gwen Moberly of letting us have Lulu to promote the breed in Europe. Lulu delivered a classic champagne filly by our stallion in June 2011.
