In June 2003 we had the opportunity to import another horse. There was 1 problem: the horse had to be in isolation in TX within 1 week. We already established good relationships with fellow breeders in the US. 1 phonecall and a lot of luck was enough to locate a suitable mare in foal. I had enough convidence in the breeder to make a discision based on the info provided over the phone. Leon purchased a daughter of his deseased stallion earlier that month. The mare was healthy and in foal but skinny. In order to preserve the bloodlines of his Old Bud, Leon acquired the mare. That same day we purchased a mare not knowing more than her color, bloodlines and her being broke to drive. From behind my pc in Belgium I arranged an urgent transport from TN to TX, something that couldn't be achieved in the US.

One month later, we went to pick up Lilly at the Airport in Amsterdam. Despite the efforts and good feed during quarantine, Lilly was still very skinny. Nothing could show us the beautiness hidden inside this mare. Thanks to balanced food, a green pasture and a good trainingprogram Lilly not only performed well under saddle (it appeared she was only broke to drive) but also joined an Endurance ride together with Secret as the first TWH in Belgium to join. In the months that followed Lilly developed into a beautiful mare with an excellent disposition; grateful, smart and  with a huge willingness to please and eagerness to learn.

Lilly is the last foal of Red Bud's Rascal. Her sire made a huge contribution in continuing some very important old bloodlines. Lilly will also produce so called 'Heritage horses'. Rarely you will see a young Walking horse nowadays with Foundation horses (marked with an F-) on the papers. In this case Hunter's Allen F-10. 5 more foundation horses just fell off the papers with one line of which one is the famous Allan F-1. This mare born in '98 is extremely friendly, smart and willing to work. She is broke to both ride and drive. Lilly was imported in 2003 in foal to Bud's Sterling Bullet. She gave birth to a healthy grey filly.

Lilly had her show debute at the European Championship in '04. Ridden by Sharon Kessler (Israel) she got a 5th place in the English 3-Gait class. At that time she was already in foal to Tsuniah's H.B. and gave birth to a healthy sorrel studcolt on May 18th '05. We named him Ravi (friend).

Ravi has a little brother! Born on June 17th '06, we call him Pleasure's Strolling Bud. Bud is extremely well gaited, correctly built and pretty as can be. If you like to keep track of Bud, check his personal page. The full brothers are growing up together and having a blast, click here for pics.

We decided to give Lilly a year off and bred her to Pleasure's Pot o' Gold.  The night after our open house on April 28, 2008,  Dean was born. Keywords: curious, macho, discovering and like all foals of Lilly; a very positive mind set! We call him Pleasure's Walkin Blues. Also check our For sale page.
