Can-Am's Honor & Respect

Sire:
Pedigree:
Honor
joined our herd in March 2008. A beautiful horse measuring close to 16
hands in a pretty chestnut color. Honor came together with her buddy
Sheba, both in foal to Golden Flower Power. Honor had several offspring
together with this stallion (now gelded). Click
here for a short video of Golden Flower Power
under saddle. Honor is born in 1995 and was exported from Canada to
Germany as a 3 year old. Here is Europe she has mainly been used as a
broodmare. After weaning her 2008 colt we will start conditionin her and
use her as a riding horse as well.
This mare has an interesting mix of old
bloodlines and is very close to be called 'Heritage TWH'. On her papers
you find the stallion Reyclif Mid-Merry, better known as
Hill's Perfection. He was 14 time
World Champion. De hengst was promoted under the name of Hills Perfection
his name was never officially changed since he already had 4 offspring
and a name change is only possible when a stallion has no offspring on
the ground.
Sun's Merry Man was the only of the
4 colts ever producing offspring. This stallion was owned by Calvin Miller. Calvin Miller
bred and raised Tennessee
Walking Horses for more than 40 years on a 24.000 acre ranch in Montana.
He will be the first admitting he started of the wrong way by breeding
for color. Soon he discovered this was not the way to go and searched
for bloodlines and gaits. The 'Calvin Miller horses' are fomiliar
for their versatility. These horses are stong with heavy bones and great
endurance. They are fantastic partners and great trailmounts with their
intelligence, willingness to please and natural ability.
Calvin said "Sun's Merry Man was a walking fool that never wore shoes
1 day". Calvin used Merry Man intensely as a breeding stallion.
This is the only line tracing to Reyclif Mid-Merry aka Hills
Perfection. Another stallion on Honor her pedigree is Ebony's Reflection M
born 17 mei 1968. Son of A Masterpiece and out of one of Calvin's
favorite mares Hi-Hats Sunday Silk. "Ebony's Reflection M
stayed shiny black year round, he had both hind and off fore socks, star
and above his near nostril. His head is a copy of his grandsire Ebony's
Masterpiece.", said Calvin Miller.
Honor her sire Can-Am's Pride is gelded and is used as a trailmount in Canada. Her
dam, Honor's Ebony Jewel,
was humanely put down in 2007 at the age of 26 after breaking her
leg making a misstep in the pasture in Minnesota. We bred Honor in 2009
to Pleasure's Pot o' Gold and after a month training under saddle she
moved to another location here in Belgium.

Several offspring:

Born June 14, 2008 Pleasure's Made of Honor aka Silas. Beautiful bay
studcolt. Currently he lives in a herd of 6 horses
with several foals. He is TWHBEA registered (TWHBEA# 20801283), chipped
and his equine pasport is being created.
