Understanding your gaited horse
Liz Graves
For the first time in
Europe! Elizabeth Graves will travel to
our continent for the first time to conduct 2 clinics.
Description clinic:
Next to the general
increase of knowledge for the different gaits, much attention will be
place to the individual horse and rider combination. Step by step you
will learn about the genetic gaitpotential of your horse and which
changes you can make to improve or change the gaits of your horse.
Topics to be discussed:
Liz will also focus on lateral exercises to teach working from back to
front of the horse instead of front to back through seat and legs,
explaining what straightness is and how to feel it and get it for
success in gait development and all advanced exercises. Liz also
addresses equine psychology. Everything Liz Graves teaches is based on
respect and humane treatment.
Clinician:
The American Liz is certainly not
unknown among gaited horse lovers. She has written many articles for The
Gaited Horse magazine, Western Horseman en many gaited websites. The
last few years several dvd's and video's were produced on which Liz
shares her knowledge about gaited horses with the viewer.
Since 1990 she conducted over 200 clinics
and judged about 100 horseshows as IPWH and RMHA judge. Liz is an expert
in opening doors for horse-rider combination and her speciality are
gaited horses!
We are proud that Liz will give a 2 days
clinic on our location Pleasure Gaits. This is your opportunity to join
with your gaited horse (breed an/or registy not important) and be guided
by Liz, receiving trainingadvice to continue schooling your horse and
yourself.
