Tsuniah's H.B.
May
6, 1993 - A mare gives birth to a new life somewhere in Canada; a
coleblack foal is born. The fear of every breeder happens; the mare
dies and leaves an orphan foal behind.
H.B. is raised with a bottle and
becomes a real gentleman, despite the fact his mother had not been
around to teach him proper manners. People say orphan foals often are
difficult to handle with a lack of respect to humans. As we say:
Exception confirms the rule since this stallion has a golden
disposition.
H.B. works as a breedingstallion at a
big Tennessee Walking
Horse ranch in Canada untill visitors from
Switzerland arrive. Even though this
stallion
is only green broke to ride, it is love at
first sight. H.B. is renamed into Chinook and moves to Europe.
The new owner has little experience
with the gaits of the Tennessee Walking Horse but works with Chinook
on a daily basis and even teaches him the Spanish Walk. It is untill
participation to a TWH clinic in November '03 when Chinook and owner
get riding- and trainingtips to improve the smooth gaits of this horse.
Chinook and owner get to work when he is already 10 years old.
I return to Switzerland almost 5 months
later to conduct a second clinic and meet this stallion again. I was
thrilled to see 'the new & improved'
without becoming pacy. Tsuniah's H.B. is one
of the view Heritage sires in Europe. For more info on Heritage

Meanwhile
we had the privelege to have Chinook at stud at our farm for 2 seasons. Ravi is
his first European bred son. In 2006 we expect 3 more of his offspring of which
2 at our place. Chinook also helped promoting the breed in Europe. His pictures
taken during a photosession in 2004 have been used in several magazines.
Together we gave several demonstrations throughout Europe of which the pictures
can be found on our activity calendar.
Pedigree:
The proud owners of Chinook are Silvia & Reto
Deiss.
On May 18th Chinook's first European bred
foal was deliverd. We named him
Pleasure's Eternal Flame aka
Ravi.
